Fatal ICE shooting sparks protests in Minneapolis

Demonstrators flooded the streets of Minneapolis overnight after a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer fatally shot a 37-year-old woman on Wednesday, igniting anger among residents and local officials who were already upset by the Trump administration’s sweeping immigration enforcement operations in the city. Director of the Immigrant Lab and Associate professor at the American University in Washington DC, Ernesto Castaneda, explains further.
