While its heartening to see Stormzy and Orits Williams paying tribute to Talay Riley, its crucial that such efforts go beyond mere symbolism. How can the music industry and society as a whole address the systemic issues that led to Rileys tragic fate? Is there a way to ensure that talented individuals arent unfairly targeted for violence? Its a call to action for real change, not just lip service.
